During the dogs stay with us, it is important to provide them with mental stimulation and enrichment. Toys, interactive toys and training are given to all the dogs during their stay.
On the whole the toys are not destroyed by the dogs, toys are selected for their robustness. However, they do wear out as they are in constant use!
Treats for training and rewarding good behaviour are a must for Old English Sheepdogs.

We've always used donated and cast off old towels, always gratefully received but not greatly absorbent. We bought a Henry Wagg microfibre towel last winter and wow what a difference! They are super absorbent and dry really quickly. The dogs seem to notice the difference too and really love being wrapped in one of these towels to be dried. We would really like some more before next winter.
